USB-C hubs have turned into a must-have gadget for computer, laptop and tablet users, especially as devices get thinner and thinner, which means no space for those desired ports. The USB-C Slim Gen 2 Hub Adapter 6-in-1 is the latest hub to join EZQuest’s extensive lineup of USB-C hub offerings. Here we will break down all the bells and whistles this sleek hub has to offer.
One USB-C 4K 60Hz video output. Take workspaces to the next level and bump up efficient workflow with extended display mode. Easily set up a second screen with USB-C devices that support display output. As a bonus, no other software needs to be downloaded to use the hub in this way.
Four USB-C Gen 2 10Gbps ports. Need to multitask and one USB-C port just isn’t cutting it? The 6-in-1 has four USB-C ports that can be used simultaneously. The total shared data is 10Gbps and the total shared power is 15W.
One USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 port. This port is the king of all ports. It’s a USB-C 100W Power Delivery port version 3.0 with pass-through charging up to 80W output and Fast Role Swap (FRS) technology. FRS is a feature where a device that is providing power can quickly change its power role to become a power consumer in order to maintain a constant data connection. FRS helps prevent any data loss that may occur when power is unexpectedly removed from a device.
All the other details. The USB-C Slim Gen 2 Hub Adapter 6-in-1 is 3x smaller than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It also has a removable 19.6-inch nylon braided cable that allows the hub to lay flat on a desk when connected to any tablet, PC, iPad Pro or iMac. The hub is also compatible with all computers with USB-C / Thunderbolt ports, as well as USB-C smartphones and tablets with OTG.
Best use cases. USB-C hubs are used for a variety of reasons, the main ones being to add extra ports to a device as well as share video, data and power. The 6-in-1 is sleek for easy travel and is ideal for use with a USB-C bus-powered portable display.
