EZQuest Cinema SAN comes with 4Gb/s or 8Gb/s Fiber Channel host interface, in a rack-mountable RAID Storage System and comes with single or dual redundant controllers. The dual redundant 8Gb FC comes with a total of eight 8Gb/s FC host ports delivering breakthrough throughput along with smooth operation. The Cinema SAN RAID engine is the heart of this solution and comes with 2Gb RAM and can provide RAID level 0, 1(0+1), 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, 60 and up to 32 logical drives and 64 partitions per logical drive as well as up to 1024 LUNs. To better safeguard cached data, the Cinema SAN also comes with new Cache-Safe technology. In the event of an unscheduled power outage, the Battery Backup Module will automatically supply power to write cached data on to a flash module for permanent retention, which eliminates the common 72-hour battery power limitation that can cause data loss. The Cinema SAN is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 (including Hyper-V), Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise, Sun Solaris, VMware, HP-UX, IBM AIX.
