Each unit has a built in RAID controller and subsystem that is capable of protecting your data with multiple RAID levels as well as proprietary software services. The Studio V comes with built in RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, PM, Large, and Clone engine to provide you with protection for your data or film/video footage. If a drive fails your data won’t disappear, and you still have a chance of being a hero! The Studio V subsystems delivers the latest disk storage technology and are ideal for integration with video as well as many other creative systems. With built in RAID technology, EZQuest’s Studio V RAID subsystems offers superior performance for data I/O, high reliability for data protection and have been designed for easy portability. Users can easily do editing anywhere without the worry of losing data.
The EZQuest Studio V RAID system can be easily configured utilizing a built in RAID Rotary Switch at the back or the LCD screen in the front. Turn the RAID rotary switch to the RAID level you want to create and you’re practically working instantly.
EZQuest takes the worry about RAID systems out of your hands by making it simple for you to set up and maintain your EZQuest Studio V RAID with the included EZQuest management software (GUI) allowing users to visually set up the Studio RAID. With the GUI users are able to receive email notifications not only if a drive or something is beginning to show signs of wear, but also when a new drive is formatted. Just knowing what is going on with your footage is a comfort and EZQuest knows that giving you a head start on things going wrong can save time and effort before it is too late.
